He opened his eponymous atelier after having spent many years as the director of an esteemed British leather brand and manufacturer. Bringing with him the skills and knowledge of time-honoured traditional craftsmanship, Mr. Simpson established a brand dedicated to creating exquisite, enduring and functional leather goods.
Simpson London is esteemed in the mastery of producing classic, naturally dyed, Grade A bridle hide briefcases, bags and board games. The company is renowned too for their expertise in fashioning exotic skins, such as the finest crocodile, alligator and ostrich into desirable handbags, luggage and small leather accessories.

Simpson London is a luxury leather goods manufacturer, founded in 1997. Bought by the WRA Group in 2009, the group has invested in and evolved the brand to accommodate new technologies without losing its core essense of quality.
Merging the highest standard of British craftsmanship with a refined sense of contemporary aesthetics, Simpson London offers a classic but innovative range of handcrafted leather goods. Made from the finest materials with skills that have been passed down through generations, a Simpson London creation is designed for today’s world.

Accented with the highest quality polished nickel and gold finish hardware and lined with durable Alcantara lining or calf skin, there is no compromise in standards from start to finish of every product that is handcrafted in Simpson London’s factory.
Simpson London use only the finest vegetable tanned hides from the world’s most respected tanneries.

British Bridle Hide leather is wax treated to give a smooth finish and ensures the skin will retain its natural beauty over time.
GRAMPIAN HIDE
Scottish Grampian Hide is sourced from the best heritage breeds and is hand-finished in Scotland by generations of craftsmen to create a soft yet durable leather..
OLIVVIA CALF HIDE
Olivvia Calf hide is sustainable and free of chemicals due to the innovative tanning method that uses redundant olive tree leaves.
CROCODILE SKIN
All Crocodile natural skins are selected according to strict rules for the preservation of the species. Controlled via the Cites process “Convention of International Trade for Endangered Species” the skins are only sourced from the world’s most respected tanneries that specialize in this precious skin.
WORCESTER LEATHER
British Worcester leather is a soft and supple skin that has a contemporary and refined appeal.
OSTRICH SKIN
All Ostrich skins with their distinctive “quills” effect are selected according to strict rules for the preservation of the species and are only sourced from the world’s most respected tanneries.
